Belait community leaders hold meeting with police

BELAIT’S grassroots leaders met with the Royal Brunei Police Force’s (RBPF) acting commanding officer for Belait yesterday to discuss recent road fatalities and crimes.

According to a statement issued by RBPF, 38 police personnel and community leaders attended the discussions, which was chaired by Acting Commanding Officer Superintendent Pg Hj Abd Salam Pg Hj Abd Ghani.

They discussed crimes in the third quarter of 2016, with grassroots leaders exchanging information with the police to help come up with crime prevention measures. The neighbourhood watch, which the grassroots leaders play a key role in, was also raised.
