DARE seeks entrepreneurs in Batu Apoi
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
DARUSSALAM Enterprise (DARE) is calling on the business community for proposals related to the development of the Batu Apoi Industrial Complex and adjacent industrial land.
In a statement issued yesterday, DARE said they are seeking to support the development of light industries and the business environment in Temburong, the sultanate’s most remote district.
The statutory body — tasked with promoting the growth of local enterprises — also urged youth entrepreneurs interested in business in Batu Apoi to submit proposals.
The site is approximately 31 kilometres from the Brunei International Airport and 52 kilometres from the Brunei-Muara Port, according to information from DARE’s website.
It is a readily prepared site with connection to utilities such as electrical supply, telecommunications, water connection and waste water management and road access.
There are 15 plots available, each approximately 0.4 hectares.
For interested parties, the Batu Apoi Industrial Complex is open for public viewing from October 24 to 28 from 9am to 3pm.
Detailed information on the call for proposals can be found on www.dare.gov.bn/sitepages/batuapoi.aspx.
The deadline for submission of proposals is on November 18 at 5pm.
Proposals should be sent to the DARE office at Batu Apoi Industrial Complex, KM 2, Jalan Labu, Temburong.
They can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject heading “Batu Apoi Industrial Site/Complex Proposal”.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to give their pitch to DARE from November 21 to November 25 at the Batu Apoi Industrial Complex.
