MEMBERS of the public are welcome to visit the BruXFit 2016 Fitness and Healthy Living Expo at the Airport Mall until Sunday.

Organised by BruXFit Management Services along with Astera Consultant and Syensai Design, the four-day expo is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and the Brunei Tourism Department.

Speaking at the launch yesterday, event co-chairman Syen Sofian Hj Abu Bakar said the expo aims to promote healthy living and routine sporting activities and lifestyles among the community.

“One of the main objectives of BruXFit 2016 is to encourage (local) sporting practitioners in promoting Brunei as an active and suitable venue for sporting events and indirectly highlight the country as a destination for sports tourism.

“We hope that BruXFit will be an annual event,” Syen said.
