DSTIncomm exchange, refund of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 October 26

SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 7 owners who purchased the cellphone from DSTIncomm can opt for an exchange or refund beginning October 26.

DSTIncomm, the authorised distributor for Samsung mobile devices here said in a statement yesterday, that Galaxy Note 7 customers can visit DSTIncomm Samsung Experience Store @ Unit 6 & 7, Block D, Abdul Razak Complex beginning October 26 during office hours to make arrangements under the replacement programme.

The authorised distributor said customers are advised to bring their identity card, the complete set of Galaxy Note7 with a DSTIncomm warranty card and any applicable original Samsung Galaxy Note7 accessories.

Customers are also required to present the proof of purchase from DSTIncomm for the Galaxy Note7, and original Samsung Galaxy Note7 accessories.

DSTIncomm said for the benefit of consumers’ safety, Samsung has stopped sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7, and has consequently decided to stop production.

Consumers with either an original Galaxy Note7 purchased from DSTIncomm or replaced Galaxy Note7 should power down and stop using the device immediately, and take advantage of the exchange and refund options, the distributor said.

In addition, DSTIncomm said all Galaxy Note7 customers are required to back up their data using Samsung Smart Switch (http://www.samsung.com/sg/support/smartswitch/), delete any data or other personal material stored in the device, and reset their device ahead of the exchange or refund at DSTIncomm.
