THE Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department said that members of the public who wish to take part in peddle activities during the weekly Bandarku Ceria Car-Free Day event can do so this Sunday at the capital.

In a press statement issued yesterday, the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department said that the street bazaar and car boot sale will be carried out on a first-come, first-serve basis and is free of charge.

The allocated areas for these two events are at Jalan Pemancha and Jalan Pretty, as well as the designated business areas.

Launched on October 2, the initiative aims to turn Bandar Seri Begawan into a dynamic and vibrant city.

The public are encouraged to use the spaces available in the capital for recreation, cultural, family and community activities.

During the event, roads in Bandar Seri Begawan will be closed from 6am to 10am every Sunday to allow small vendors to do business, reduce carbon footprint and encourage healthy living.

More information regarding the peddle activity can be obtained by calling the telephone number 2232424 extensions 131/176/187/365.
