DSTIncomm now replacing Note 7 units

DSTINCOMM customers who have purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phone can now get a replacement at DSTIncomm’s Samsung Experience Store until October 9.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the country’s authorised distributor for Samsung mobile devices advised customers to bring their complete phone set, along with their DSTIncomm warranty card and official receipt, to get their replacements.

The warranty period for the phones will be extended from the date of exchange for a period of one year.

Samsung announced a global recall and return on all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones on September 3 due to battery cell issues.

DSTIncomm said that customers can visit the Samsung Experience Store during business hours daily from 9am till 8.30pm, and on Friday from 9am till 11.45am, and 2.15pm till 8.30pm, excluding public holidays.

Customers requiring further assistance on the replacement programme can contact DSTIncomm at 8859898 during office hours.
