Motorcyclist escapes with minor injuries

A LOCAL motorcycle rider sustained minor injuries after his bike collided with two saloon cars at Jalan Tengah in Seria yesterday.

In a statement, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said that it had received a distress call at around 12pm, with pictures of the incident already making its way to the social by then.

Some of those pictures showed the motorcycle being left broken on the side of the road, with another picture showing part of the bike’s seat being stuck at the front bumper of one of the saloon cars involved.

The police added that drivers of both of the saloon cars, a local man and a local woman sustained no injuries from the incident.

As of press time, the police have yet to get a full statement of the incident from persons involved, with the cause of the accident still under its investigation.
