Minor injuries reported in road accident involving three motor vehicles

AN ACCIDENT involving three motor vehicles occurred yesterday morning along Jalan Jerudong to Sengkurong.

 According to a statement from the Royal Brunei Police Force, the report of the accident was made at 11.36am, and the police went to the scene immediately.  The statement said a 32-year-old pregnant woman, who drove a Toyota Vios, was admitted at the RIPAS Hospital due to swelling injuries between pelvis and her knee.

 The second driver, a male foreigner aged 52, who drove a Ford Ranger, escaped without injury.

A senior citizen aged 79, who drove a Suzuki Vitara and a passenger in the same car had suffered minor injuries, the police said.

 The accident didn’t involve any government property. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
