Thai police official calls on RBPF commissioner

ROYAL Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Commissioner Dato Paduka Seri Hj Mohd Jammy Hj Muhd Shah Al Islam yesterday received a courtesy call from Police Colonel Preeda Sataworn, deputy commander of Royal Thai Police’s Personnel Planning and Design Division, Human Resources Bureau.

The RBPF in a statement yesterday said Thai police officials were here to conduct a comparative study of police administration and laws in ASEAN member states for public safety.

The study includes research on police administration and context of policing such as crime situation, transnational crime, police organisational structure, law-enforcement involving police criminal justice system, police-public participation and international policing. The visit aimed to strengthen relations between the two sides in terms of public safety and policing. Police Colonel Sataworn was accompanied by four senior officers from the Royal Thai Police during the courtesy call.
