Passenger escapes crash with minor injuries

TWO vehicles were involved in a car accident near the Bunut Mosque, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said.

The police said that the two female drivers, who were in their 20s, escaped unhurt.

The Sengkurong Police Station received a call about the incident, which involved a Suzuki Alto and a Chevrolet Spark, at 12:33pm. The car crash resulted in one of the cars being overturned, said the police.

As of press time, a passenger of the Suzuki Alto, was still being treated at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) as she sustained minor injuries to the head and neck.

The cause of the car crash is still under investigation.
