Two RBPF personnel promoted to inspectors

TWO Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel have been promoted from probationary inspectors to inspectors with the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The promotion ceremony for the personnel, who were each officially appointed to the rank of Inspector of Police as of May 1, was held yesterday at the Gadong Police Headquarters.

Present to install the rank insignias for Md Saiful Nizam Sabli and Ak Muhd Adib Pg Hj Kamarudin was RBPF Commissioner Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Mohd Jammy Hj Muhd Shah Al-Islam.

In an interview with The Brunei Times, both RBPF personnel expressed their gratitude for the promotion and said they will develop and improve themselves in order to better serve the public’s needs.

“I would like to thank my family and my fellow officers for giving me the motivation and the strength to succeed in my career. With this promotion, I will make sure to work even harder and to better myself so that I may fulfil my duties more effectively,” said Md Saiful.

“Firstly, I would like to thank the RBPF for continuously providing me with valuable experiences which has contributed to my personal growth. With this promotion, I will continue to uphold the good name of the RBPF and continue to protect the peace and uphold the laws of the country,” said Ak Muhd Adib.
