THE parents of a 16-year-old local girl reported missing since July 4 said yesterday that she has yet to be found.

Speaking to The Brunei Times in a phone interview, the father of the girl, Erna Nur Syafina My Japra, said his daughter went missing around 2pm on Monday.

She had been with her cousins around the Airport Mall area before she had gone missing, he said.

Thinking that she would come back home, the family decided to wait some time before filing a missing person’s report with the police on July 6, her father said.

According to family members, Erna was last seen dressed in a black shirt, white cardigan, black jeans and a grey shawl.

At press time, an online post listing details of the missing girl had been shared over 460 times on Facebook.
