RBLF commander visits Thailand

THE Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Brigadier General Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan Pg Hj Mahmud visited Thailand on June 1-3 for an introductory visit to the Royal Thai Army.

Receiving the commander at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok were Director General, Directorate of Intelligence at the Royal Thai Army, LTG Pisit Kateburome and Brunei Defence Attache in Thailand Lt Col (U) Norudin Salleh.

The RBLF commander also called on Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Army General Teerachai Nakwanich.

The RBLF commander was then awarded with the Royal Thai Army Jump Wings, presented to him by the commander in chief of the Royal Thai Army.

The RBLF commander was also briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the Royal Thai Army, followed by a discussion on the current issues of defence and future opportunities for exercises between the two countries.

The visit is aimed to maintain a close relationship between the two nations. – Abdul Aziz Ismail
