Adinin celebrates 15 million man hours without lost time incident

A LOCAL company yesterday celebrated a milestone, having reached its 15 million man hours without Lost Time Incident.
In his opening speech, Managing Director of the Adinin Group of Companies Hj Musa Hj Adnin, said that the milestone they have achieved is remarkable considering the high risk activities carried out by its Construction and Contracts Department as well as the numerous operational challenges faced by its workers and personnel.
“The safety milestone is therefore a proud testament to our teamwork and dedication towards a positive safety culture,” Hj Musa said.
He reminded his employees to not let the safety milestone allow them to “slip into a level of complacency,” adding that the focus on safety should not wane for even one moment.
The Adinin Group of Companies managing director said that the company’s achievement was a compilation that began six years ago in 2010 where the company reported its last lost time incident (LTI).
During the ceremony, 82 employees comprised of project managers, engineers, supervisors and construction workers received awards for their contributions in health and safety in the workplace.
Present to deliver the awards was guest of honour, the Acting Minister of Development, Dato Paduka Hj Suhaimi Hj Gaafar.
Also present was the Chairman of Adinin Group of Companies, Hj Adnin Pehin Datu Perdana Menteri Dato Laila Utama Hj Ibrahim.
