16 babies born on RBAF Anniversary

SIXTEEN babies were born during the 55th Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Anniversary Celebration that was held on May 31.

Twelve of the babies were born at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, one baby was born at Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital, Tutong, and three babies were born at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Belait.

The RBAF, RBAF Wives’ Association (BAKTI) and RBAF Cooperative KOWIRA presented gifts to each of the infants in the form of hampers and vouchers.

Presenting the gifts at the RIPAS Hospital was Datin Hajah Rasidah Haji Brahim, wife of the Royal Brunei Land Force commander.

Dayang Nor Elisa Abdullah, wife of the RBAF logistic director, presented a gift at Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital and Dayang Nazatul Shima Hj CA Mohamed, wife of Royal Brunei Navy’s deputy commander, presented gifts at the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital.

Also in attendance at the ceremony were RBAF officers, hospital staffs and representatives of BAKTI’s Administrative Committee. – Julius Hong
