HRH Princess Masna in China for five-day visit

HER Royal Highness Princess Hjh Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, is in China for a five-day visit as part of celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei and China.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in a statement last night said HRH yesterday visited the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, which focuses on service industries and incorporates environment-friendly policies in planning the city.
The princess also held a meeting and had lunch with Tianjin Vice Mayor Zhao Haishan at the Tianjin State Guest House.
The ministry said both parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and visited the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall, which exhibits the Tianjin municipality’s developments.
Later, HRH attended a dinner hosted by President of China-ASEAN Association Gu Xiulian.
HRH had earlier arrived in the Chinese capital of Beijing last Sunday.
Former Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Min Yongnian and Brunei ambassador to China Datin Paduka Magdalene Teo Chee Sion welcomed the princess upon arrival at the Beijing International Airport.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Hj Abd Aziz is accompanying HRH throughout the visit.
