Brunei car involved in Limbang accident

A 31-YEAR-OLD Moroccan national residing in Brunei was involved in an accident in Limbang which resulted in his injury and the death of two Malaysians, said an official from the Limbang Police Headquarters.
When contacted, PDRM Investigation Traffic Officer Inspector Ejan Abu told The Brunei Times that the accident occurred around 7.53am at KM39 Jalan Tedungan Limbang.
The weather was dry and clear during the time of the incident.
He added that the accident involved two vehicles a Hyundai Tucson carrying Brunei License plates which was driven by the Moroccan national Yassine Allabou and a Proton Gen 2 which was driven by 40-year-old Malaysian, Senin Anak Gember and carrying 52-year old Malaysian Angkin Anak Laut.
According to the officer, upon arrival at the scene the two Malaysians were found deceased and Yassine injured.
Yassine was sent to the Limbang Hospital to receive medical attention for his injuries.
The officer added that according to initial reports, Yassine was heading towards Tedungan Limbang from Bandar Limbang while Senin was heading toward Bandar Limbang from Tedungan Limbang.
The accident was believed to have occurred when Yassine move dinto the right lane colliding with Senin. The two vehicles have been brought to the Limbang Police Headquarters.
