WATER disruptions are expected to hit several areas in the capital starting from 9pm tonight, the Public Works Department said yesterday.

The affected areas include Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Royal Mausoleum, Arabic schools on Jln Tutong, Kg Kiulap and its surroun-ding areas as well as Jame ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah.

Other areas are Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, Pusar Ulak area, Law building, Cempaka Park and a part of Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha up to Kg Telanai and its surroundings.

The department said the disruption, expected to last for seven hours, is due to additional pipeline installation works in the area.

The public can call the Darussalam hotline at 123 for water tanker services. However, the department said the water tanker services are limited. The department also apologised for any inconvenience.
