Two injured in car crash

TWO foreigners were injured during an accident involving two vehicles on Jalan Tungku Link.
According to the Royal Brunei Police Force, a 36-year-old man broke his foot, while his wife broke her right leg.
The accident was reported at 9.15pm on Monday night involving a white Perodua and a Honda. The 29-year-old driver of the Honda was not injured.
Another accident was reported on Jalan Tungku Link yesterday, involving one silver Land Rover Discovery at 12.44pm.
The 34-year-old driver sustained injuries to her right hand, left ankle and head. She was sent to the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha hospital and was released after receiving medical treatment.
Her vehicle sustained damage to the front tyres, front rims, windows, bumper, headlights, windscreen, roof, and bonnet.
Meanwhile, a car hit a Brunei Shell Marketing oil tanker in Belait on Monday night, the police said.
The police in a statement said the tanker was heading to Kuala Belait from Seria at the time when it collided with a Toyota Vios. No casualties were reported.
In another accident, two drivers were injured after their cars, a Kia Sportage and a Mazda CX-7, collided near the Seria wet market.
The police said one of the drivers was rushed to Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, while the other driver sustained light injuries.
