Two Green Brunei members attend climate meet in Manila

TWO Green Brunei members recently joined over 700 individuals from 58 countries in Manila recently for a Climate Reality Project Training.

Green Brunei founder Khairunnisa Ash’ari and Norazwan Anarul attended the three-day training, which focused on the realities of climate change around the world, as well as highlighting the solutions that countries can adopt to solve the climate crisis.

Led by former US Vice President Al Gore, the training aimed to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to communicate the science of climate change to the public.

According to Green Brunei, the Climate Reality Project comprised a diverse group of passionate individuals who came together to help solve the greatest challenge of our time.

They consist of cultural leaders, marketers, organisers, scientists and storytellers who are committed to building a better future together.

Green Brunei said both Khairunnisa and Norazwan will join ranks with over 3,000 climate reality leaders from all over the world to conduct Acts of Climate Leadership as a follow up of the training.
