HM sends condolences to Russia over plane crash

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the airplane crash in Rostov-on-Don.

In the message, His Majesty said he was saddened to learn about the loss of lives caused by the air crash.

The Sultan, the government and people of Brunei conveyed their heartfelt condolences and deep sympathies to Putin, the government and people of Russia, especially to the bereaved families.

According to news reports, the FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 crash killed all 55 passengers and seven crew on board after it missed the runway while trying to land.
