UNISSA, KUIS sign MoU on cooperation

UNIVERSITI Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Selangor International Islamic University College (KUIS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday.

In a statement, UNISSA said the collaboration with KUIS would benefit both institutions in terms of academic cooperation and mobility between the two institutions for its students and teaching staff in various fields.

Additionally, the MoU will enable UNISSA to produce more academic collaboration effectively with other international higher institutions of education, it said.

The MoU was signed by UNISSA’s Rector, Dr Hj Norarfan Hj Zainal, and Yang Berbahagia Dr Syukri Abdul Rahman, the Deputy Rector of Academics and Research at KUIS.

The signing was followed by a discussion between the two parties on potential plans that could be undertaken by the two educational institutions.

During the ceremony, the UNISSA rector was also elected as an international panel advisor for the Sultan Alauddin Sulaiman Shah Journal.

Also present at the MoU signing was UNISSA Deputy Rector Dr Hj Mohammed Hussain Pehin Penyurat Hj Ahmad, UNISSA Assistant Rector Dr Arman Hj Asmad and an eight-member delegation from KUIS.
