Police meet Temburong neighbourhood watch members

THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in the Temburong district held talks with grassroots leaders for the fourth quarter neighbourhood watch meeting at the Dewan Muafakat in Bangar on Monday.

A statement issued by RBPF yesterday said Superintendent Mohammad Azrie Hj Talip, Temburong District Officer Hj Abdul Hamid Dato Paduka Hj Abdullah and Temburong Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Hj Sulaiman Hj Ahad met with grassroots leaders.

The meeting briefed on crime and traffic figures in the fourth quarter of 2015. The meeting also discussed the development of the neighbourhood watch and the activities carried out with RBPF.

On the same day, the Bangar Police Station Superintendent Officer also held a separate meeting with chairpersons of the neighbourhood watch and village heads.

The police said the two sessions, both delivered by Assistant Police Superintendent at Temburong Police Station Pg Anak Azanuddin Aman Shah Pg Anak Ismail Al-Haj, was an opportunity to share views, explain and clarify matters.

The statement added that one of the issues raised was not fulfilling the quota.
