New online portal launched for assisting enterprises

ENTERPRISES will now be able to raise any business-related issues, enquiries or suggestions on an online portal starting today, said the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister’s Office in a press statement yesterday.

The online portal at aims to provide a more efficient and effective platform for enterprises to raise any issues as part of the continuous efforts of His Majesty’s Government to improve the ease of doing business in Brunei.

All enquiries received online will be followed up by a team who will resolve the registered issues directly, with input from different government sectors.

“Enterprises can expect a response within five working days depending on the complexity of the issue. For a more personal touch, companies are also welcome to visit the Business Helpdesk, open every Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 4pm (with a break from 12pm to 2.30pm on Friday),” the statement said.

The Business Helpdesk is located on the 1st floor of the Design and Technology Building at the Anggerek Desa Technology Park, Simpang 32-37. In April, the Business Helpdesk will be open five days a week from Monday to Friday.

Following up from the Enterprise Open Day event that was held between January 19 and 21, the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister’s Office welcomes all enterprises to share their issues, enquiries or suggestions on the online portal, the statement said.
