TWENTY-ONE stalls at the Tudung Saji Market in Kuala Belait were inspected on Tuesday night to make sure health and safety standards and regulations were met.

The enforcement section of the Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Department led the operation on the popular Gerai Perayaan opened to mark His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 69th birthday celebrations in Belait.

No fines were issued during the operation, but some of the 21 vendors inspected were warned for leaving food in the open and on the floor.
