THE Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) yesterday held a thanksgiving ceremony for 19 of its personnel who will be performing Haj this year.

Out of the 19, three are Haj Bithah (Haj mission) members.

The personnel will be among the 400 hundred pilgrims that will depart Brunei in two batches on August 30 and 31.

Minister of Religious Affairs Yang Berhormat Pg Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Muhammad Pg Hj Abdul Rahman presented donations to the intending pilgrims at the event.

Also in attendance during the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pg Dato Paduka Hj Bahrom Pg Hj Bahar, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, heads of department, officers and staff of the ministry.
