Affected roads during HM’s visit to Belait
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
THE Belait Traffic Control and Investigation Department (JSKLL) will inspect vehicles to ensure smooth traffic flow along the main roads of the Municipal Field during the get-together with the Sultan on Saturday.
In a statement, the Royal Brunei Police Force said it will start inspecting vehicles at 7am at five roads.
The roads are Jalan Maulana/Simpang Jalan McKerron, Jalan Bendahara towards Jalan Sultan, Jalan Padang towards the Jln Sultan four-way junction, Jalan Dato Shahbandar entering Jalan Sultan and Jalan Maulana from Services, Transport and Logistics.
Only vehicles with parking passes can use the roads, said the statement.
Several parking zones will be closed a day before the meet-and-greet until the event ends, with the exception of some vehicles. The parking zones are divided into eight categories – VIP parking zone, parking areas A, B, C, D, and E, as well as parking space for buses.
RBPF reminded road users that unauthorised vehicles would be removed to Belait Police Station.
