THE Department of Community Development (JAPEM) held a get-together for its residents and Pusat Bahagia trainers yesterday.

The get-together was held at Sumbangsih Mulia in Beribi.

It was organised in conjunction with the celebration of National Family Day 2015.

Present as the guest of honour was Acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Datin Paduka Hjh Adina Othman.

The get together also saw donations presented by Datin Paduka Hjh Adina to a total of 266 Pusat Bahagia trainers and 46 residents of the welfare home.

The donation ceremony was followed by singing and dancing performances prepared by the trainers and welfare home residents.

Datin Paduka Hjh Adina then proceeded to interact and mingle with the trainers, residents and parents of the residents at the event.

The get-together ceremony is held annually by JAPEM to strengthen family relations.
