KUPU SB sets up ‘Tarbiyah Usariyah’ clinic
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
THE Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB) set up a ‘Tarbiyah Usariyah’ (family upbringing) clinic aimed at providing counselling and guidance in matters related to the family institution.
The clinic was established as one of the programmes under the Fiqh al-Usrah Study Centre to widen the centre’s counselling services, as well as strengthen family institutions.
Dean of Faculty Syariah Dr Hjh Noor Hira Hj Noor Kaseh, in her speech at the launching ceremony, said the clinic hopes to assist and guide KUPU SB’s community towards creating a Sakina Mawaddah Wa-rahmah (a caring, loving, happy family).
The services of the clinic are open to students as well as staff of KUPU SB.
Those who wish to utilise the services of the clinic are required to fill in a form. The forms can be obtained from the Faculty of Syariah office. Completed forms are then to be inserted in a designated box.
Members tasked with the responsibilities to manage the clinic will then contact the individual to provide advice, guidance or suggestions with regards to their problems.
