TEN blood donation campaigns will be held by ministry departments and private sectors throughout this month.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) in a statement issued yesterday said that the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital’s Blood Donation Centre will celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri with a blood donation campaign.

The campaign is slated for Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the ministry’s Dewan Al-‘Afiah. It will run from 5 to 8pm.

A number of blood drives will also be organised in various parts of the country this month.

Members of the public are urged to donate their blood during the campaigns.

The Ministry of Health said that the Blood Donation Centre hopes the campaigns will help replenish the blood stock reserves at the centre.
