YB Pehin Dato Hj Adanan said that the smooth-running operation for healthcare was only possible with the understanding and support from the family members of officers and staff.

The health minister remind officers and staff of their responsibility that they have towards the healthcare of the general public and urged them to continuously improve their services.

“What I hope to emphasise here is the great role that family members play in carrying out duties as they are an important factor in helping us reach our goals,” said the minister.

According to MoH, the gathering was one of the ministry’s annual events, aimed at enlivening Hari Raya celebrations and strengthening friendship between different staff within the ministry.

Guests were treated to a special buffet featuring healthy nutritious food, entertainment and lucky draw. The minister also toured the “healthy food” exhibition outside the main hall, where each department prepared a special stall displaying examples of healthy menus.
