GOVERNMENT agencies continued to observe Hari Raya Aidil Fitri yesterday, bringing festive cheer to civil servants in the public sector.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) hosted a ceremony at its banquet hall, where personnel across different divisions gathered to celebrate. Present as the guest of honour was Acting Energy Minister Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Wahab Juned.

During the ceremony, Dato Hj Abdul Wahab presented a donation of $4,000 to the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA). The mock cheque was received by Hj Puasa Hj Jumat, assistant managing director of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB).

Among the officials joining the celebration was Deputy Minister at PMO Dato Paduka Hj Ali Hj Apong alongside Attorney General YB Datin Seri Paduka Hjh Hayati Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Hj Mohd Salleh.

Meanwhile, the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) held its own Hari Raya Aidil Fitri gathering at the Laws and Courts Building. Present was Solicitor General Naimah Mohd Ali.
