DUE to the bank’s half-year closing, payment counters of the Land Transport Department (JPD) today will only be open in the morning while several counters of the Employees Trust Fund (TAP) will be closed.

In a statement issued by the JPD yesterday, all of its service counters across the country will only be open for half a day starting at 8.15am to 11.30am.

The payment counters which will be serving only in the morning will include the JPD headquarters in Gadong, the Sungai Akar Training and Driving Test Complex, the Old Airport branch, the Belait, Tutong and Temburong branches.

The TAP’s payment counters will be closed for the same reason.

However, their TAP service and enquiry counters, e-Info Kiosk and e-Amanah online services will continue to operate.

The payment counters for both the JPD and TAP will resume operation on July 1.
