The event also saw the handover of welfare donations by PGGMB President Hj Antin Ahad to one of the association members as their effort to ease and lighten the burden of unfortunate members.
Besides celebrating the month of Ramadhan with welfare activities, the event was one of the initiatives of the association to gather members as well as to strengthen relationship with members of the community.
The gathering was continued with the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and tahlil recitation involving more than 50 members of PGGMB including some former teachers.
Celebrated its 76th anniversary this year, PGGMB now has more than 2000 members that actively broaden and maintain relationship with other teaching communities in ASEAN countries.
In line with its objectives to broaden the level of knowledge, the association is currently making a progress to build and rent out apartments on leased land at Kampung Madang as a way to sustain the non-governmental organisation.
