THE Brunei-Muara District Orphans’ Fund received a donation of $5,000 following a handover ceremony that took place at the Brunei-Muara District Office in Berakas yesterday.

Private companies Emas Laut Sdn Bhd and Subtec Laut Sdn Bhd made a donation of $2,500 each to the fund.

Emas Laut Sdn Bhd Managing Director Hj Mohammad Taib DH Hj Abdul Wahab and Subtec Laut Sdn Bhd Managing Director Shahbollah Mohamad Akip were present to hand over the donations.

Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer Misle Hj Abd Karim received the donations for the fund.

The two companies also made a similar donation to the Belait Orphan’s Fund earlier this week.-Amanda Yap
