THE Masjid RPN Kampung Perpindahan Mentiri received contributions donated by a delegation from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) yesterday.

The donation that was presented in the term of derma khairat and wakaf came in the form of two air-conditioning units and six fans for the comfort of the congregants.

Present to hand over the donation on behalf of the delegation was the Deputy Mufti Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Hj Suhaili Hj Mohiddin.

Receiving as a representative of the mosque was mosque affairs officer Abdul Aziz Hj Abdullah.

This was then followed by a tadarus quran from _juzuk _16 to 30.

A tahlil, doa arwah and _doa selamat _was also conducted at the Masjid RPN Kampung Perpindahan Mentiri.

The delegation comprised of officers and staff from the PMO, the Brunei Research Department and the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The next destination for the delegation to carry out their tadarus is expected to take place on June 27 at the Masjid Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit in Mukim Kilanas.

According to a statement issued by the PMO, the event is expected to enliven the month of Ramadhan with the respective mosque takmir committees.
