Immigration Dep’t extends BSB, Belait passport section working hours

THE Immigration and National Registration Department would like to inform the public that the Travel Documents Section (Passport Section) at its headquarters at Jalan Menteri Besar, Bandar Seri Begawan, as well as the district branch office for Belait will temporarily extend its operating hours.
The new operating hours will be from 8.15am to 11.00am on Fridays, beginning June 26 until July 10.
Meanwhile, new operating hours of 6am to 10pm will also be implemented for daily operations at land-based immigration control.
Affected control posts include Kuala Lurah in Brunei-Muara District, Sg Tujoh in Belait District, the Labu immigration control post and the Ujung Jalan Immigration Inspection Complex in Temburong District.
People who intend to travel outside Brunei have been advised to check the expiry date of their passport as well as to take extra caution and plan their trips ahead of time to avoid spending long hours in queue.
