MEMBERS of the UBD Alumni will be organising an informal charity drive throughout the month of Ramadhan to benefit needy and underprivileged individuals across the country.

Several cycles are expected to take place within the next few weeks with the first one taking place next week on June 27 at Kg Bolkiah ‘A’ and ‘B’.

Donations have been ongoing with the UBD Alumni members receiving donations for the selected parties in the form of basic necessities such as rice and cakes for next month’s Aidil Fitri celebrations. Other collected items also include cleaning supplies.

However, the UBD Alumni members are not accepting donations in terms of money.

“We hope that this will help ease the burden of these families in need during this holy month of Ramadhan,” said Ak Hj Ahmad Fadillah. Those interested to learn more of the informal charity drive can contact the UBD Alumni at 8909625.
