THE Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) handed over donations to 13 orphans from Kg Menengah in the Tutong District during a Tadarus Al-Quran ceremony held at the Kg Menengah Mosque yesterday .

Minister of Home Affairs Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awg Badaruddin Pengarah Dato Paduka Hj Awg Othman was present to handover the donation.

Penghulu of Mukim Lamunin, Hj Tujoh Talip, spoke on the importance of assisting the village orphans.

“It is always very important to help the ones in need because we have to ensure that no one is left alone,” he said.

Also present during the ceremony was the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Hj Halbi Hj Md Yussof.
