ALL sports facilities under the Department of Youth and Sports (JBS) will be open to the public between 8am and 3pm throughout the fasting month of Ramadhan.

These facilities includes fields, sports halls and outdoor sports courts, said JBS in a press statement issued recently.

Meanwhile, Aquatic Centres and swimming pools under the JBS will be open daily for an hour throughout Ramadhan, from 9pm to 10pm.

All sports complexes will be closed today in conjunction with the start of the fasting month.

National athletes participating in sports training for regional or international competitions are reminded that their use of said sports facilities is subject to schedules provided by relevant sports coaches, and must be given priority.
