THE Public Works Department will continue to carry out a two-month closure of Jalan Maulana/Jalan Penglima in Belait District to make way for the second phase of installation works of a new 1000mm box culvert.

The first phase of the installation work was on June 6.

The road will again be open to the public on August 5 this year.

The installation work will replace a 600mm round culvert around the area, the department said in a statement yesterday.

Road users are advised to use an alternative route, to be cautious and to follow road signs.
