A MAN charged with causing hurt and threatening his spouse was released on a $5,000 court bail yesterday.

The court document submitted by prosecuting officer Shamshuddin Hj Kamaluddin stated that defendant Mohammad Nor Rosadi Moahammad Adi, 28, is accused of slapping, punching, kicking and threatening his wife on June 6.

The prosecution indicated yesterday that they will be filing more charges against the defendant on the mention of the case.

Among the conditions of the defendant’s release include monthly reporting to the police and not to approach the complainant.

A further mention of the case will be held on July 1.
