Ramadhan religious school hours rescheduled

RELIGIOUS school students in Pra, Year One, Year Two and Year Three will be given a holiday as they will not have any classes during the holy month.
However, religious school students in Year Four, Year Five and Year Six will attend their morning session from 8am to 9.30am and afternoon session from 12.30pm to 2pm.
The Islamic Studies Department announced this yesterday through a notice issued on the rescheduling of school hours for Arabic and religious schools during the upcoming Ramadhan period.
Classes for Arabic preparatory schools will run from 7.30am to 11.40am, while Arabic secondary schools will have classes from 7.30am to 12.30pm.
Meanwhile, the hours for teaching staff are 7.15am to 12.30pm in Arabic schools, while those in religious schools will work from 7.30am to 10.30am and 12pm to 3pm.
For secondary schools, teaching staff will work from 7.30am to 11.50am and 12.15pm to 4pm. The working hours in primary schools will be from 7.45am to 11.40am.
