TELEKOM Brunei Berhad (TelBru) yesterday said a service upgrade will be carried out in Gadong and Central areas due to the installation of new splitters in the cabinets beginning June 4.

A statement by TelBru said this will briefly affect the telephone and internet services of broadband subcribers in those areas.

On June 4, the affected area is at Simpang 39, Jalan Ong Sum Ping and Simpang 126, Jalan Kumbang Pasang, while on June 5, it will be at Kompleks Abdul Razak (Block B, E and F), Jalan Gadong and Bangunan Hj Daud Complex, Jalan Gadong.

On June 10, the affected area will be at Simpang 46, Jalan Perusahaan Beribi, while on June 11, affected areas are at Jalan Pasar Gadong (Simpang 235-7), Jalan Kiarong-Kiulap (Simpang 235), Jalan Dato Ratna (Simpang 22) and Kiarong Central Building.

The work will commence at 11pm and is expected to last about two hours for each of the cabinets.
