THE Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has established diplomatic relations with the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with effect from May 27.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said in a statement the signing of the joint communique took place at the Permanent Mission of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York.

His Majesty’s Government was represented by Dato Paduka Hj Abd Ghafar Hj Ismail, permanent representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York.

Meanwhile, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was represented by Inga Rhonda King, permanent representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations in New York.
