Health ministry hosts Isra’ Mikraj celebration

THE Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday held an Isra’ Mikraj celebration at the Al-Afiah hall to commemorate the religious significance of the event.

Minister of Health Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Adanan Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Hj Md Yusof was present to grace the celebration.

The event included a religious lecture titled ‘Employment challenges and how to address them according to Islamic perspective’ which was delivered by an invited lecturer from the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ustaz Hj Ismuhadi Abdullah.

Besides highlighting the lessons of Isra’ Mikraj, the talk also touched on the benefits during this religious event towards generating productivity and performance especially in the nursing field.

Also present was the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Dr Hjh Rahmah Hj Md Said, senior special duties officer, deputy permanent secretaries, officers and members of the ministry of health.

The annual event was co-organised by the Renal Services Department and the Nursing Services Department at the ministry and was concluded with a nasyid performance.
