Bruneian youth killed in Sabah accident

A 22-YEAR-OLD Bruneian was killed in a two-car collision in Kimanis, Sabah last Sunday, Sabah police confirmed.
When contacted by The Brunei Times yesterday, the Sabah police identified the Bruneian as Mohd Hariz Zulfaqar Mahzan.
A representative of the Sabah police said Mohd Hariz was alone in his car when the accident happened on Jalan Papar, Beaufort in the afternoon.
The late Mohd Hariz’s car collided with a Malaysian-registered car carrying four passengers. Sabah police said two of the passengers in the Malaysian-registered car were seriously injured while the remaining two sustained minor injuries.
All the passengers were brought to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Kota Kinabalu.
Mohd Hariz’s body had been repatriated to Brunei for funeral rites yesterday.
Meanwhile, Laksamana College of Business (LCB) yesterday confirmed that the late Mohd Hariz was one of their students.
Mohd Hariz was on a study leave before examinations start at the college next week.
