THE 21st Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (21st EDPMMO) poster presentation showcased a presentation and poster exhibition since last Saturday until today at the Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA), Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

The presentation and poster exhibition is aimed at showcasing the various policy papers drafted by the members of the 21st EDPMMO, which will be presented as the final part of their eight week programme.

Twenty participants presented their policy papers over the two-day event which covered issues under welfare, security, international relations, productivity, development and many others.

As part of the exhibition, products made by members of the public from underprivileged backgrounds were also showcased.

This is to highlight the importance of encouraging entrepreneurship as part of efforts to alleviate poverty, a statement by the 21st EDPMMO said.

The 21st cohort of the EDPMMO, carrying the theme ‘poverty’, also engaged visits to the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB), Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) and the Community Development Department (JAPEM) during the period of their course.

The Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers is a leadership course conducted by ILIA for the Public Services Department of Brunei Darussalam.
