The Brunei Times joins Belait job fair

JOBSEEKERS are invited by The Brunei Times to drop by its booth at Sentral Shopping Centre's first job fair in Belait from May 18 to 20.

The paper is looking to recruit dynamic, career-minded individuals in its editorial, administrative and production departments. Priority will be given to citizens and Permanent Residents of Brunei Darussalam.Foreigners are also encouraged to apply.

The paper is looking for reporters, sub-editors and editors its newsroom, while assistant accountants and administrative clerks are sought for the company's administration.

For the newspaper's production side, press and electronic technicians are wanted.

The company is also searching for reporters and photographers to join The Brunei Times team based in Belait. Proofreaders are also sought for part-time positions.

Sentral's event manager Chan Leang Seng welcomed The Brunei Times as one of ten participating firms, and encouraged those from Belait to drop by the company's booth to learn more about available positions.

“We are delighted to have one of the leading, modern newspapers in Brunei be a part of our job fair, especially as the company continues to grow its presence here in Belait,” he said.

Interested applicants need only bring their latest curriculum vitae along with a passport-sized photo to the company's booth anytime between 10am to 6pm. Walk-in interviews will also be held.

The job fair will be located at the shopping centre's atrium on the ground floor, in front of Jaya Hypermarket.
