THE Public Works Department (JKR) apologised for water disruption in several areas around the Brunei-Muara district yesterday.

A statement from JKR said that the affected areas include Kg Beribi, Perumahan Flat Beribi, Polis Eskot Diraja.

Certain areas in Kg Kiarong, Jalan Elia Fatimah, Pasar Gadong, as well as surrounding areas, also experienced water disruptions.

The statement went on to explain that the disruptions were due to repair works of the main water pipe in Kg Beribi, Jalan Pg Babu Raja.

It added that the disruptions will continue until repair works are completed.

The public are therefore advised to use their water supply economically.
